Eagles force Game Seven PDF Print E-mail

A deciding seventh playoff game between the Bowmanville Eagles and the Peterborough Lift Locks will be played in Bowmanville today, thanks to a 3-2 Eagle win Saturday in Peterborough.

Peter Neal scored twice for the Eagles, while John Bull was responsible for Bowmanville's other goal.

The final game of the CCHL East Semi Final will be played Sunday at 1:30pm at the Garnet Rickard Complex in Bowmanville.

An altercation in the stands after the game marred an otherwise great game.

"The Peterborough Stars Organization have always been and continue to be a class act," noted a statement on the Bowmanville Eagles website. "It should be noted both organizations support a family atmosphere and those involved (in the altercation) will not be permitted entry to tomorrow's game."
