Clarington students top marketing event PDF Print E-mail

A team of Clarington Central Secondary School students took first place at marketing challenge hosted by Trent University recently.

The Clarington team, which consisted of Sara Taylor, Melody Coulter, Amanda Dundas and Emma Woolford took top spot at the Trent Business Invitational Marketing Challenge.

The event gives students from area high schools the chance to show off their ability to create marketing campaigns. The event, held in Peterborough, was sponsored by Wild Rock Outfitters. Students were challenged to come up with a marketing plan geared to the sponsor's business needs.

A total of 27 students from Grade 10 to 12 in the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board and the Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington Catholic District School Board took part in the competition.
